
Kazuki Saiki

Kazuki Saiki, as a business development manager, is leading several business incubations and R&D projects at Mitsubishi Shipbuilding, a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. One of these projects is the development of a tablet- based handy navigation assistance system targeted at Japanese domestic cargo shipping. Through electrification and digitalization, he is fully focused on addressing social issues such as improving the work environment on board and preventing maritime accidents. Kazuki Saiki joined the Shipbuilding & Ocean Development Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2012. Since then, he has been leading a variety of engineering projects related to container carriers, bulk carriers, LNG bunkering vessels, and the world’s first on-board CCS pilot project, “CC-Ocean.” In 2021, Saiki moved to the Strategic & Operations Office and began his career in business development. Saiki earned a Master of Engineering from Yokohama National University in 2008.
