- Compared to competitive ionomer dispersions, i-SERIES dispersions enable FCVs to have a greater energy output and more reliable long-term operation because i-SERIES enables increased proton conductivity and chemical and mechanical stability.

- AGC offers two grades of i-SERIES ionomer dispersions for electrodes:

        - IC100 designed to boost an electrode’s resistance to cracking

        - IC154 designed to boost electrode performance

Key features:

- Contains high polymer solid

- Enables formation of highly durable catalyst layers with less cracks, indicating excellent durability

- Could be used in both anode and cathode electrode catalyst layers and high cell voltage applications

Technical specifications:

- Ion exchange capacity: 1.1 meq/g ± 0.1

- Equivalent Weight: 909 g/eq median

- Viscosity: 300 mPa.s ± 100

Application areas:

- Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC)

- Proton Exchange Membrane Water electrolysis (PEMWE)
