Piasecki Aircraft is developing a 7000lb FAA Party 27 Hydrogen Electric Rotorcraft for the EMS, Commercial, and Military Markets. The journey ahead will be short-lived without a robust infrastructure to support it.    We are in need of the H2 economy and the infrastructure that supports it.  We will provide an in-depth look at High Temperature Fuel Cells, why they are the key to vertical flight, and why batteries cannot match the weight or endurance HT-PEM’s have to offer.  We are excited to show you our progress on our Air Force AFWERX  PA-890 Propulsion System, our planned flight of HAXEL this year, and discuss the many benefits for vertical flight, the lessons learned,  and challenges we have overcome to get where we are today.
