Sustainable Fuel Production for Transportation
OxEon’s core technology suite is comprised of four synergistic technologies capable of converting carbon dioxide and water to sustainable fuels. The presentation will cover key demonstration projects that advance production of hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and liquid hydrocarbon fuels from renewable sources, as well as power for carbon-free air transportation. Delegates will learn about current projects that incorporate solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOEC), solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), non-thermal plasma catalyzed autothermal reformer, and modular Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reactor to demonstrate renewable fuel production from seawater, food waste disgester, and excess renewable power. In addition to fuel production, SOFC operation with ammonia fuel demonstrates a continuous, high energy density alternative to battery power for air transportation and satellite systems.
