In his remarks, Mr. Weeks will provide some background on hydrogen’s progression from an industrial feedstock to one of the energy industry’s hottest topics, with a focus on the Texas/Louisiana gulf coast region.  The U.S. Department of Energy’s regional clean hub program will be discussed, along with some highlights of the Gulf Coast Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (HyVelocity).  He will also discuss other cooperative private-public partnership initiatives in the region that will be critical to a successful launch of hydrogen as a robust, commercially viable clean energy solution.
