This presentation investigates challenging control valve applications in Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). We will explore a variety of scenarios encountered in the process design, drawing on examples from collaborative projects with technology developers. These examples will showcase solutions which could be applicable to various CCUS technologies. Discussion will also touch on alternative valve styles for some applications which could reduce upfront capital expenditures.
